The measurement of heteronuclear dipolar couplings by solid-state NMR is an important tool for determining structures in solids. H-1-observe (HH)-H-1-H-2 REDOR and rotary resonance recoupling experiments with fast magic-angle spinning are presented. These dipolar recoupling experiments show promise for measuring heteronuclear dipolar couplings with H-1 nuclei. Potential limitations of the experiments include short transverse relaxation times of the H-1 magnetization and BlochSiegert effects.
