Summary: A new species of the genus Neobacillus, Neobacillus rhizosphaerae, was isolated from the roots/rhizosphere of maize. It exhibited lower similarity to other Neobacillus species and had slight physiological and biochemical differences. Additionally, the reclassification of Bacillus dielmonensis as Neobacillus dielmonensis was proposed based on phylogenomic and conserved signature indel analyses.

Summary: A lemon-chiffon strain named Parachryseolinea silvisoli sp. nov. was isolated from a soil sample collected from Qinghai Virgin Forests, Qinghai Province, PR China. This strain belongs to the family Fulvivirgaceae and represents a new species in a new genus. Additionally, the reclassification of Chryseolinea flava as Pseudochryseolinea flava gen. nov., comb. nov. is proposed.

Summary: The genus Clostridium is diverse and includes species like C. cocleatum, C. ramosum, C. spiroforme, and C. saccharogumia. These species form a distinct cluster within the family Coprobacillaceae in the order Erysipelotrichales. Based on phylogenetic, genomic, phenotypic, and chemotaxonomic information, it is proposed that these species be transferred to a new genus called Thomasclavelia.

Summary: A novel myxobacterium, strain H56D21(T), was isolated from forest soil in Diaoluo Mountain National Nature Reserve, Hainan Province, PR China. It showed prey ability on two types of phytopathogens, including fungi and bacteria. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that strain H56D21(T) belonged to the genus Hyalangium and had a closely related species, Cystobacter gracilis. Genome comparison and annotation provided additional insights into its genetic features.

Summary: A novel Gram-stain-positive coccus-shaped bacterium, designated as INB8(T), was isolated from hypersaline marine water sample collected at the Inland Sea of Qatar. Phylogenetic analysis indicated that the strain belongs to a new species within the genus Ruoffia. It is proposed to reclassify several other Facklamia species based on genetic and phenotypic information.

Summary: This study conducted a taxogenomic analysis of the Erwiniaceae family and proposed the reclassification of several species within the genus Erwinia. The findings suggest the possible subdivision of the genus Erwinia and provided insights into the diversity of the Erwiniaceae family. These results lay a solid foundation for advancing the taxonomic revision of this broadly relevant family.
