Summary: In this study, new solid forms of Ruc were prepared through cocrystallization to improve its oral exposure. The cocrystals of Ruc-Thp MH, Ruc-Mal, and Ruc-Emal were obtained and characterized. It was found that Ruc-Thp MH had higher solubility and bioavailability compared to Ruc-Cam.

Summary: The present research aimed to develop a Piroxicam nanosuspension to enhance the solubility and in vitro bioavailability of the drug. Piroxicam nanosuspension was prepared using PVP K30 and Poloxamer 188 as stabilizers. The results showed that the nanosuspension significantly improved the particle size and solubility. Therefore, the Piroxicam nanosuspension can improve the solubility and in vitro dissolution behavior of the drug, leading to enhanced bioavailability.

This study reviewed evidence of lipid and polymer-based NDS for oral delivery of curcumin. Most studies found that NDS increased curcumin absorption compared to free curcumin.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the loading of sildenafil citrate in three commercial transdermal vehicles using 3D full-thickness skin equivalent and compare the results with permeability experiments using porcine skin. The results showed that the results obtained using the 3D skin equivalent were comparable to those obtained using porcine skin, suggesting that the 3D skin model can be a valid alternative for ex-vivo skin absorption experiments.
