This study presents a data analysing method and an assessment system for manufacturing process. The data analysing is based on the data collection, performance indicators and data quantification. The system can be used to provide detailed information on the overall resources consumption and the environmental impact, where fuzzy comprehensive assessment is utilised to calculate the evaluation score for the manufacturing process. The feasibility of this system is demonstrated by the manufacturing process of a valve body J61Y-20 DN40.
