Coronary angiography remains the gold standard for coronary artery disease diagnosis. In Lebanon, the density of cardiac catheterization centers is almost three times that of France (9.32 vs. 2.92 per 1,000,000 individuals) and recently collated national data indicate notably a high utilization rate of 53 per 10,000 individuals, placing Lebanon third after the United States and Germany.
