Summary: The study aimed to evaluate the dental pulp responses to rhEPO and/or MTA in pulp capping of inflamed dental pulp in vivo. Pulp capping with rhEPO or MTA + rhEPO resulted in lower inflammation and higher mineralization scores compared to untreated control. Capping with rhEPO or MTA + rhEPO resulted in a favorable effect that was similar or even superior to that of MTA.

Summary: Results of the study showed a significant difference in hard tissue bridge formation with ProRoot MTA, while RetroMTA performed better in terms of continuity, morphology, and inflammatory reaction. Although RetroMTA healed pulpal tissue faster, it seemed to be more of a reparative process compared to ProRoot MTA.

Summary: The study evaluated the effects of using iloprost, MTA, and MTA-iloprost as pulp capping materials on pulpal inflammation and tertiary dentin formation in rat molars. Results showed similar pulpal responses in all groups, suggesting that mixing MTA with iloprost might not have significant clinical benefits.

Summary: The study successfully synthesized MTA-based scaffolds for regenerative endodontic procedures. The adhesion and proliferation of hDPSCs significantly increased on these scaffolds. The results also indicated that PCL/CS/MTA scaffolds could induce the angiogenesis process.

Summary: This systematic review evaluated the dentin regeneration efficacy of direct pulp capping biomaterials, concluding that MTA and Biodentine can induce dentin regeneration. The results suggest that MTA and its variants have better efficacy in the DPC procedure for dentin regeneration.

Summary: This study aimed to compare the histopathological response of dental pulp after direct pulp capping using two different materials, exogenous nitric oxide (NOC-18) and Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA), in dogs' teeth. The results showed that the active status of the odontoblasts layer was significantly higher in the NOC-18 group compared to the MTA group after one month. However, there was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of dentine bridge formation after three months.

Summary: MTA can promote early differentiation of IPMSCs into odontoblasts, while MTA combined with PRP can stimulate calcified granule and dentin bridge formation through calcium mineral deposition. This combination is an effective method for activating endogenous dental pulp stem cells into odontoblasts in the early stages of pulp regeneration.

Summary: The study compared the effects of Hesperidin, Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA)-Angelus, and calcium hydroxide for direct pulp capping. Hesperidin was found to induce mild inflammation and promote good dentine bridge formation, making it a promising material for pulp capping.

Summary: The aim of direct pulp capping (DPC) is to promote pulp healing and mineralized tissue barrier formation by placing a dental biomaterial directly over the exposed pulp. Successful application of this approach avoids the need for further and more extensive treatment. This review focuses on the DPC procedure, the materials used, and their mechanisms of action to promote pulpal healing.

Summary: The study identified 7533 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between different treatments, with Biodentine showing a higher number of DEGs compared to ProRoot WMTA at both 3 and 7 days. Despite their differential gene expression, both TCS-based biomaterial treatments mainly involved in odontoblast differentiation, angiogenesis, neurogenesis, dentinogenesis, and tooth mineralization.

Summary: Biodentine and MTA enhanced the proliferation, adhesion, and differentiation of LPS-induced DPCs. The proliferation and adhesion process induced by Biodentine and MTA was through the AKT pathway, but the cellular differentiation process may involve a different pathway that requires further exploration in future studies.

Summary: This study analyzed the age changes in suicide behavior in Iran, and the results showed that the average age of suicide for men and women in Iran is 29.8 and 27.4 years old respectively. The eastern and central regions of Iran have the highest rates of completed suicide. The findings emphasize the critical importance of increasing awareness and reducing suicidal behavior in Iran through educational programs and public health campaigns.
