Summary: This study proposes a model based on social contagion theory to evaluate the impacts of authentic leadership on employee work engagement and trust in the leader, integrating the mediating effect of trust in the leader and the moderating effect of workplace well-being. The findings indicate that authentic leadership and its subscales positively impact employee work engagement and trust in the leader, with trust in the leader mediating the relationship between authentic leadership and employee work engagement. Workplace well-being moderates the relationship between certain subscales of authentic leadership and employee work engagement.

Summary: Teleworking is a new business reality that requires adapting leadership styles to function effectively in a virtual environment. This study examines the mediating role of e-work self-efficacy in the relationship between e-leadership competencies and workplace well-being and job performance. The findings show that e-worker self-efficacy partially mediates the relationship between e-leadership competencies and workplace well-being, and fully mediates the relationship between e-leadership competencies and job performance. The study suggests that equipping e-leaders with competencies that enhance employee self-efficacy and performance can create a teleworker-friendly business model.

Summary: This study aims to explore the interpersonal antecedents, transfer mechanisms, and outcomes of psychological well-being (PWB) within coach-athlete-sport psychology practitioner (SPP) triads. The study found that situational properties of stressors, factors relating to the organization, shared values and characteristics, and interpersonal resilience were antecedents of PWB. PWB was transferred through interpersonal coping, emotional contagion, and social appraising. The study also identified psychological safety, meaningful experiences of growth and development, and relational dynamics as both outcomes and antecedents of PWB. These findings have implications for research and practice.

Summary: Psychological climate for caring (PCC) is a psychosocial factor associated with individual work outcomes and employee well-being. Longitudinal evidence shows that PCC is associated with lower odds of subsequent diagnosed depression, an increase in overall well-being, and improvements in various work-related outcomes. Work policies focused on improving PCC may lead to better employee health and well-being, as well as improved work-related outcomes.

Summary: This study investigated the relationships between intrusive thoughts and fear related to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as between intrusive thoughts and mental health, testing the mediating role of hyperarousal and avoidance. The results showed that hyperarousal, compared with avoidance, mediated the relationship between intrusion and the analyzed outcomes within the PTSD framework. These findings provide empirical evidence for the impact of hyperarousal on individual consequences such as fear of COVID-19 and mental health.

Summary: Humor can positively impact interpersonal relationships and employee well-being in organizations, but there is limited evidence from intervention studies in organizational settings. A training program aimed at enhancing employees' adaptive humor as a stress coping mechanism was developed and found to be effective in improving cheerfulness, reducing seriousness, and decreasing psychological distress in participants. The medium effect size suggests that interventions to improve adaptive humor at work could be beneficial in managing workplace stress and promoting employee well-being.

Summary: This study aims to explore the temporal evolution of anxiety, depression, and insomnia symptoms during the COVID-19 lockdown in Spain and examine their association with job insecurity and work-family conflict. The results show a logarithmic increase in anxiety and depression symptoms, accentuated during the first part of the lockdown, and a quadratic increase in insomnia symptoms, accentuated during the second part. Higher levels of job insecurity and work-family conflict are related to higher levels of anxiety, depression, and insomnia. People with more work-family conflict experience stronger growth in all mental health indicators.
