Summary: Observational studies have shown increased risk of acute myocardial infarction and arrhythmia for prostate cancer patients using GnRH antagonists compared to agonists, with no overall difference in risk of cardiovascular disease. Having a history of cardiovascular disease may modify the associations with certain subtypes of CVD. Further research is needed to address potential confounding factors.

Summary: This work presents the first thermodynamic models to evaluate the heat release of both solid-state and Li-ion batteries under failure scenarios. It is found that all-solid-state batteries can reach significantly higher temperatures than conventional Li-ion batteries, which could lead to fire accidents.

Summary: The meta-analysis compared GnRH-antagonist and GnRH-agonist protocols in managing poor responders in IVF/ICSI cycles, finding that GnRH-agonists were more effective in terms of reducing cancelled cycles, increasing embryos transferred and clinical pregnancies. However, GnRH-antagonists resulted in shorter ovarian stimulation duration. High heterogeneity among studies was observed, suggesting caution in interpreting the results and the need for further large cohort studies and meta-analyses to identify the ideal protocol for poor responders.

Summary: The main systemic therapy for hormone-sensitive prostate cancer is androgen deprivation therapy, with LHRH agonists and GnRH antagonists showing differences in inducing castration and impacting cardiovascular risk in patients.

Summary: This article discusses the adverse events associated with androgen deprivation therapy, focusing on cardiovascular and bone-related events. GnRH agonists are associated with metabolic and cognitive AEs, while GnRH antagonists are predicted to have no difference in risk. Future studies are needed to further evaluate and compare the safety profiles of these two treatment approaches.

Summary: The impact of exotic natural enemies in classical biocontrol can vary, with relative specialists potentially having strong non-target effects while the broadest generalists have weaker but more widespread impacts. The focus on specialists in classical biocontrol may not be a reliable means to reduce ecological risk, and more research is needed to compare the effects of generalists and specialists across food webs.

Summary: This study compared the complications of minimally invasive surgery (MIS) and open procedures for orthopedic spinal, upper limb, and lower limb surgeries. The results showed that MIS had fewer total, postoperative, and intraoperative complications in spinal procedures, but there was no significant safety advantage in upper limb and lower limb procedures compared to open procedures.

Summary: The toxicity of PQ nanoparticles (PQNPs) and their impact on acute lung injury were evaluated in this study. The results showed that PQNPs exhibited lower cell cytotoxicity compared to bulk PQ and resulted in lower levels of oxidative damage in the lungs. Overall, PQ loaded in chitosan-alginate particles offers safer characteristics than bulk PQ.

Summary: The treatment gap for migraine has widened during the COVID-19 pandemic as attention has shifted to the international emergency. Telemedicine has been effective for migraine follow-up, with ongoing evaluation needed. It is important to avoid drug interactions and close contact procedures in acute COVID-19 cases, while also acknowledging the potential secondary effects of the virus on those with migraine.

Summary: This study examines the dynamics of a crucial design choice in venture governance - the distribution of power at the top between a separate CEO and board chair. The findings suggest that ventures are more likely to combine their CEO and chair positions when operational performance is weak, but paradoxically, separating these positions would be most beneficial for ventures in such situations. Empirical analysis of data from the Australian mining industry supports this theory, with some interesting nuances. The implications of these findings for the literatures on venture boards, boards of directors, and entrepreneurship are discussed.

Summary: The purpose of this network meta-analysis (NMA) is to comprehensively analyze the evidence of oral GnRH antagonists in the treatment of moderate-to-severe endometriosis-associated pain. Through literature searching, eligible studies published before April 2022 were included. Elagolix 400 mg and ASP1707 15 mg were found to be most effective in reducing pelvic pain, dysmenorrhea, and dyspareunia. Overall, oral GnRH antagonists were effective in treating endometriosis-associated pain.
