Summary: An environmentally friendly and efficient three-component synthesis of tetrasubstituted pyrroles was developed through a nucleophilic attack followed by Michael addition and intramolecular cyclization. The reaction exhibited high atom economy, excellent yields, and scalability compared to previous methods. The wide range of primary amines and different substituted f3-nitrostyrenes and dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates further demonstrated the versatility of this approach.

Summary: The development of an environmentally sensitive and cost-effective method for producing multi-functionalized cellulose fibers has led to the synthesis of imine carboxymethyl dialdehyde modified cellulose fibers (ICDAMF). This approach allows for the integration of desirable functional groups, such as carboxyl groups for gel formation and aldehyde groups for covalent adsorption of diamine dyes. The ICDAMF has potential use in textiles, where it can prevent the leaching of dyes and reduce environmental pollution.

Summary: This study presents a rapid and efficient method for synthesizing polyhydroquinolines using the Hantzsch reaction and 2-amino-4H-chromene derivatives. The method is catalyst-free and uses ethanol: water (1:1) at room temperature and 90 degrees Celsius. It demonstrates the ability to handle diverse substrates with different functional groups, including ketones. Furthermore, this method offers economical and environmentally friendly advantages with shorter reaction time, simple workup procedure, no catalyst, and excellent yields.

Summary: The study revealed that chrysin has the largest inhibitory effect on CYP3A4, while quercetin and flavopiridol serve as representative examples of structurally different flavonoids. The inhibition parameters for these compounds were evaluated using the calibrated QM/MM strategy, aiding in quantitatively understanding the functional behavior of the whole flavonoid family. Additionally, a kinetic threshold for further assessment of the time-dependent inhibition of CYP3A4 by flavonoids was explored.
