This study examined the accuracy of 3D-printed dental casts with different base designs and prosthesis types. The flat-base design generally outperformed the hollow-base design in trueness. Morphological differences in prostheses affected trueness, emphasizing the importance of base design selection. The study identified distortion-prone areas and noted the impact of storage duration on dimensional stability. In conclusion, clinicians should carefully choose base designs for 3D-printed dental casts to ensure trueness within clinically acceptable parameters.
