I love this question! At the state level in the US, our entity is focused on health and the well-being of our communities. The SDGs are not actively referred to, but perfectly aligns with #3 in the general sense. We have units and departments that focus on different outcomes whether that be STIs, health care related infections, respiratory, surveillance, women and children, etc. Through that, there is education, research, investigation, etc.
