Poster summary
- The co-crystallization of Na2WO42H2O with Na2MoO42H2O and [Pt(NH3)4](NO3)2 from a water solution results in the formation of single-phase [Pt(NH3)4](MoO4)x(WO4)1-x solid solution (x vary in the 0.5-0.6 interval). According to the X-ray diffraction analysis of one single crystal, the parameters of the tetragonal unit cell (space group I41/amd, Z = 4) is: a = 7.4490(3); c = 15.5150(11) Å with the x = 0.592(7). The obvious anisotropy of the crystal thermal behavior is shown: with an overall increase in the volume of the tetragonal unit cell by 1.03%, parameter a increases by 0.67%, while parameter c decreases by 0.32%. The thermal decomposition of [Pt(NH3)4](MoO4)0.6(WO4)0.4 was performed in H2 atmospheres at 1000 °C. The ex situ X-ray and scanning electron microscopy studies of thermal decomposition product shows the formation of single-phase HCP-alloy of Pt0.47Mo0.34W0.19 approximate composition.
