Poster summary

The irregular shape of the disturbances presents an issue for mining engineers at the Sidi Chennane phosphate deposit in Morocco. Accurate quantification of the disturbances is needed to determine their part in the overall volume of phosphate. In this work, we investigate the multifractal spectrums as a defining parameter for distinguishing between the phosphate deposit of a low rate of disturbances and the deposit of a high rate. The work was carried out through the geoelectrical maps of the study area. The results reported showing wide variations of the studied disturbed areas, indicating that the multifractal analysis is an indicator for evaluating and characterizing the disturbances within the phosphates deposits. This could be the starting point for future work aimed at improving phosphate exploration planning.
