Poster summary
- An original insight into the mechanisms of SIRS and SEPSIS, and thus the possibilities and effective application of measures in prevention, defense against disease, and support in treatment. The importance of mast cells and histamine storm as overlooked aspects during surgery, Covid-19 and ventilated patients in general are shown. The theoretical basis of the analysis are the principles of thermodynamics and gas physics in mechanical ventilation, mast cell activation factors and the cascading multi-organ interactions effects of histamine and its receptors on the body, which contribute to the formation of systemic inflammation. Presentation of the potential role of antihistamines, DAO enzymes and Immunoglobulins IgG. The discovery of the above mechanism provides knowledge on how to prevent and defend against the development of pathophysiology of diseases, and consequently translates, in a medical way into personal and structural security, strengthening military security in the field of CBRN.
