I have been checking information on the website before. Today, I have come to fulfill my vow and accumulate good karma. This time, the review process for the 2DM manuscript was quick.

Submitted on August 30th.
Results came out on September 20th, requiring major revisions.
Revised manuscript was returned on September 28th.
Results came out on October 7th, requiring moderate revisions. In reality, there was only one issue, and it was resolved on the same day.
Accepted on October 9th.

After submitting the initial draft, the system indicated "returned by associate editor." This has been the result for both submissions. Have any of you encountered a similar situation, buddies?

Update on article progress: Submitted on March 10th and received reviewer comments on May 12th. Quite speechless. The first reviewer said it could be accepted after revisions, while the second reviewer asked a few simple questions about the articles but did not mention any need for revisions. However, the editor rejected it directly and suggested submitting to nanotechnology. The journal seems to have a double-blind peer review mechanism, and it feels like they have a high self-positioning. The editor is very cautious in accepting articles, but it seems that the impact factor does not meet their standards.

Submitted on March 10th, it took about a few days for the 1st reviewer to agree to report. I thought I would receive news soon, but after one or two weeks, it changed back to "searching reviewer". After two weeks, it changed back to "1st reviewer agreed to report". It is now April 27th and it is still "1st reviewer agreed to report". I don't know when there will be results. I am in a hurry to graduate with my thesis, but I didn't expect this journal to be so slow.

12.15号小修，还是原来的审稿人，但是有一个没有回复，其他两个审稿人只有一个问题 - Minor revision on December 15th, same reviewers as before, but one reviewer did not respond, the other two reviewers had only one comment
12.17再投 - Resubmitted on December 17th
12.24接收 - Accepted on December 24th
历时半年，终于接收 - Took half a year, finally accepted
