I have submitted two articles consecutively. The first article was rejected a week later, stating that it did not meet the objectives. The second article, which had completely different content, was submitted and there was no response for a week. It was still with the assistant editor. I sent an email to inquire about it, and the reply stated that we had submitted the manuscript twice, so it was rejected. I have published nearly 10 articles in first and second-tier journals, and both of these articles had completely different content and titles. However, they claimed that the first article was a duplicate submission, which indicates that they did not even read the manuscripts. A few years ago, I began serving as an editorial board member for this journal. I have submitted articles to this journal on behalf of my friends three times, two of which were for a Special Issue. The editorial process was very fast, with acceptance and publication taking less than 3 weeks. Although the Article Processing Charge (APC) of 2400 CHF is a bit expensive, it is significantly more cost-effective compared to other open-access journals such as the Journal of Nanomaterials (Impact factor: 2.986, APC: 2300 USD).

Currently, the journal has several Special Issues, including one that I am co-hosting with a colleague. If you have suitable manuscripts, please submit them as soon as possible. The deadline for submission to this Special Issue is March 31.

The speed and efficiency of this journal are so high that it keeps an Italian editor chasing after us Chinese people for revisions... Do they not sleep at all? It took around two weeks from start to finish. We made minor revisions, edited the figures, submitted it, went to sleep, and when we woke up, it was directly accepted. We used LetPub for proofreading, and the reviewers said there were basically no grammar issues.

PS: The difficulty of submission acceptance is not high, but it requires innovation that stands out. If it is innovative enough, there is a high probability of being accepted. The whole process, from submission to receiving the acceptance notice, takes about 1.5 months.

The problem is that for newcomers, from design, verification, documentation, etc., it is already a very difficult task.
