To be honest, it feels like this journal is going downhill. The most obvious sign is the decrease in impact factor. After waiting for several months, the editor completely ignored it, just dragging it along without rejecting or reviewing it. It's disgusting that when you inquire through email, they either ask you to withdraw the submission yourself or just wait. It seems like nobody is managing this journal anymore. I sincerely advise against submitting to this journal. You can try other journals, they all seem better than this one.
