The review process is a bit slow, completely unlike the average 6+28 days advertised by the journal. I submitted on August 9th, and it wasn't in peer review until the 17th. On the 22nd, it changed to "with editor," and on the 29th, it was "under review" again. On September 1st, it went back to "with editor," coinciding with the lockdown in Chengdu. On the 5th, I couldn't wait any longer and asked the editor, but surprisingly, I hadn't received any peer review results. None of the reviewers had reviewed it. On the 7th, it went back to "under review" again, and on the 10th, it was "with editor" once more. On the night of the 12th, it went back to "under review" again, and a few hours later, it was "with editor" again. On the 13th, I couldn't resist asking the editor again, and finally received a peer review result. I guess it was written by the reviewer who spent several hours reviewing it.
