The article processing is a bit slow, and the article has been redirected multiple times in "In peer review" and "With editor". I don't know what's going on, at first I thought it was arbitration review, but it seems not.

What is the deadline for returning repairs for this issue? It wasn't mentioned in the email.

哈哈哈哈怪 2023-07-10

May I ask where to check the deadline for returns and repairs?

负剑游西川 2023-07-08

The editor I encountered was very responsible.

哈哈哈哈怪 2023-06-16

How long does it usually take to receive the review comments?

哈哈哈哈怪 2023-06-16

I want to ask, I contacted two reviewers, and the first one replied within two days. Does that mean it's not going well? ?

chengeke 2023-05-22

Does the external review committee send an email to notify the corresponding author?

qq572020211 2023-04-14

The editing process is quite fast, but they found a third reviewer for me, and I feel that they are still quite strict.

The speed of reviewing is fast, and the reviewers are very professional!

负剑游西川 2023-02-16

The review process took about a month, but the editor was very responsible and immediately accepted the modifications.

Good journal, keep up the good work.

After receiving it, it takes about 3-4 days to sign the license.

张新威 2023-01-07

May I ask on which day after acceptance did you receive the email notification to sign the license? It's been 3 days since I received it, but I haven't received the license notification yet.

蓝水白鲨 2023-01-03

Submit for first-round review, which lasted for 2 months. During the process, there were multiple changes with the editor and in peer review. After major revisions in the first round, it was sent back to peer review. It was eventually accepted, and then an email notification was sent for signing the license.

It has been two months, and there is still no feedback on the manuscript. I have been bouncing back and forth between "In peer review" and "with editor" multiple times. It is really slow, and I feel hopeless.

It's not that it's difficult to find reviewers for non-biological materials, it's difficult to find reviewers for RSC (Royal Society of Chemistry) journals. The review process for Chemical Science, which my senior submitted to, is also very slow. I wonder if RSC has a bad reputation? Anyway, journals under ACS (American Chemical Society) and Wiley, such as AMI, ACS NANO, AFM, and AHM, are much quicker. Journals under Elsevier, like Biomaterials, Journal of Biomaterials, and CEJ (Chemical Engineering Journal), are also slow.

superma 2022-10-22

My mind changed once and never changed again. I should be looking for a reviewer. Wait a moment, please don't rush me.

superma 2022-10-22

"Now just wait."

"My paper has been in peer review all along. What is the situation? I submitted it on October 11th."

瓶子159 2022-10-19

The situation is similar to yours. It has changed four or five times already. Yesterday, I saw it in the hands of the editor. I don't know whether I should push for the manuscript or not. Is it difficult to find reviewers for biomaterials?

瓶子159 2022-10-19

I submitted it on September 9th, and now it has already gone through four or five changes in "in peer review" and "with editor." Yesterday it was "with editor" again. I'm not sure what's going on. Have you also had so many changes?

芃芃不是梵梵 2022-10-19

It should be 2 months, very fast efficiency~

芃芃不是梵梵 2022-10-19

After a major revision on September 27, it was accepted on October 17. It was fast~ Thank you to the editor and the reviewers! It's really great~

洋葱王子 2022-10-15

Just submitted on the 11th, currently in peer review. Ah, the outcome is unknown, hopefully it won't be rejected outright.

The review process is a bit slow, completely unlike the average 6+28 days advertised by the journal. I submitted on August 9th, and it wasn't in peer review until the 17th. On the 22nd, it changed to "with editor," and on the 29th, it was "under review" again. On September 1st, it went back to "with editor," coinciding with the lockdown in Chengdu. On the 5th, I couldn't wait any longer and asked the editor, but surprisingly, I hadn't received any peer review results. None of the reviewers had reviewed it. On the 7th, it went back to "under review" again, and on the 10th, it was "with editor" once more. On the night of the 12th, it went back to "under review" again, and a few hours later, it was "with editor" again. On the 13th, I couldn't resist asking the editor again, and finally received a peer review result. I guess it was written by the reviewer who spent several hours reviewing it. On the 15th, it went back to "under review" once more, and finally, on the 21st, I received the editor's decision. Minor revisions, mostly regarding language and formatting. Thank goodness! The quality of articles in JMCB seems good, but the review process is just too slow. Maybe it's because everyone was on vacation in August, and there were no reviewers available, or perhaps no one was willing to review for free.

Submitted for review....

百步弓手 2022-09-05

My situation is also like this.

百步弓手 2022-09-05

Is there any news? Mine is similar to yours, still no news.

芃芃不是梵梵 2022-09-05

8.20 submitted 9.5 initial assessment This is too slow. I don't see anyone else being this slow. Can we reject it quickly? Why hasn't the editor received it yet? Should I send a reminder letter?
