How can I claim this 700 discount? Should I send you an email or 2700?

2023-07-16

Recently, I am preparing to submit an article to this journal. The official website shows a fee of 2700CHF, which is too expensive. May I ask where can I find discount coupons, experts?

启轩 2023-07-02

I would like to know how much you charge for this article.

启轩 2023-07-02

The price discrimination of the thesis is such that when they claim to offer a discount, it usually turns out to be the original price. I'm not sure how they determine the pricing, but previously it was 2000 Swiss francs, and they claimed to give a 400 franc discount. I thought the discount of 400 francs was acceptable, but after submitting it, I found out that the price became 2400 Swiss francs. The discounted price is still 2000 Swiss francs.

May I ask how your paper turned out? How long did it take to receive the reviewer's comments?

柠檬水水159 2022-10-14

Review for 12 days
Minor revisions, reply within 5 days (3 reviewers)
Proofreading by the school for 3 days
From submission to publication, a total of 19 days, very fast.

gaoxiaochuan 2022-10-06

Editing and peer review took 11 days.
Extensive revisions were made based on 2 experts' opinions and 13 suggestions, and the responses were quite satisfactory.
It took 3 days to proofread, and the publication was released in less than a day after the revisions were completed.
From submission to publication, the entire process took a total of 24 days, which was very fast.

drmeimei 2022-09-18

Three reviewers in the first round, one is very easy, one is relatively tough, and there is one who was late. I only saw the new comments on the day I uploaded the revision. After making the revisions, the comments from the two reviewers were acceptable, but the easiest one didn't reply at all. The status then changed to "editor decision" after a week, and then it became "ask for additional reviewer". I don't know what it means, did they find other reviewers? I feel anxious. Then, the next day, it became "revised version review"... I still haven't received any communication, don't know what's going on...

drmeimei 2022-09-18

May I ask how your final result turned out? After I made revisions and looked at the reviewer comments, it seemed to be okay. There was one comment that wasn't addressed, and after a week, the editor made a decision to ask for an additional reviewer. Then, after one more day, it turned into a revised version review.

爱汪汪wang 2022-08-27

Although the speed is fast, it's not that fast. It took a total of one month and 6 days, which is faster compared to most journals in Eszterville. It's not too shabby either. There were five reviewers in the first review, and it took about a week for acceptance after the feedback. Good luck and also thanks to my advisor for the expenses.

ncuxu 2022-08-26

It took a week to reply to the comments, and on the day of submission, it took 2 weeks to receive the revision suggestions. The revised manuscript was accepted the next day, in less than 20 days. It can be said to be very fast. This is also a "love-hate" aspect of so-called open-access journals. I don't know when it started, but there are numerous comments online equating open-access with low-quality journals. Well, nothing can be generalized, open-access does not necessarily mean low quality, and traditional journals are not always good. Science and Nature have many open-access sub-journals. Traditional journals have long publication cycles and can only publish a limited number of articles in each issue, which may result in a backlog of articles. Open-access online publishing is not limited by page space, and in addition, open-access readers do not need to pay fees, which to some extent increases the article's downloads and citation rates. This may also be the reason why its impact factor is as high as 4.967. Overall, if there is an urgent need for an article, open-access SCI can be a shortcut. Finally, I am grateful for the support of the supervisor. It is indeed too expensive, so let us cherish it! I wish everyone success in getting their desired journals published.
