Let me give a fair and honest review of this journal because I have spent a considerable amount of time and effort on it. Around March, I submitted my initial draft to the journal, and after approximately three weeks, I received the review comments. There were about forty-eight or forty-nine suggestions for major revisions, including some basic errors in the article such as logic, grammar, spelling, units, etc. These were relatively easy to address. Then, there were modifications required in the expression of electrochemical mechanisms, which required extensive research and consultation of literature and books. Additionally, there were inquiries about the experimental aspects, such as the laminar or turbulent flow of the solution, dispersion of particles in the solution, etc. These needed experimental verification and explanation.

Overall, the article underwent three revisions and the entire process took approximately three months. I resubmitted the article on June 19th and received an email notification from the editor on June 20th afternoon that my article had been accepted. This journal has been steadily improving its impact factor, moving from the third quartile to the first quartile. However, it is important to focus on and explain the mechanistic aspects. The review process is relatively strict, but with dedication, I believe there will be positive outcomes. Lastly, I would like to express my gratitude to the editor and the four reviewers for enhancing the quality of the article and expanding my knowledge. I am delighted to have the opportunity to publish in SCT and wish for its continuous success!

The speed is quite fast, and it usually takes no more than 20 days from submission to receiving feedback. There are three reviewers, two major revisions, and one rejection. The editor gave an opportunity for revision, and after the revised version, two reviewers accepted it. The reviewer who rejected it suggested major revisions, and after making the modifications according to his suggestions, it was directly accepted.

I feel that the main factor is whether the editor is interested in your work. Additionally, it is important to answer the reviewers' questions politely and respectfully.
