The submission process for this journal was relatively smooth. Previously, I had submitted to ACS Catalysis, Green Chemistry, Chemical Science, ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering, and Fuel, but all of them rejected my submission. So I decided to give this journal a try, even though it is a low-ranking journal. However, considering the amount of effort and time I put into this work, and also because it is my first SCI publication, I was not willing to submit it to a second-tier journal. The manuscript was sent for review in about a month, and the reviewer comments came back within 20 days. One of the reviewers is probably from India, and another one may be from China. The comments they provided were reasonable and not overly challenging. Overall, I am grateful for the strong support from the reviewers and editors for this work.
