Submission in mid-June, revision in late July, it is a minor revision. After revision, it will be accepted in August. It requires a high level of language proficiency and the basic need for a professional native speaker to proofread, even if we have already written it carefully. This journal has a good reputation in the field of traditional Chinese medicine and is basically on par with Phytomedicine, which has just been upgraded to the first category of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Its impact factor is higher than that of the Journal of Ethnopharmacology, but the latter is a well-established and reputable publication. One year, Yangtze University even listed it as a low-risk journal, which is quite absurd. It must be said that this CJDX is quite impressive, not only in terms of reputation but also in terms of its influence.

From submission to acceptance, it took more than 7 months. The first review took about 2-3 months, and the second review took over 3 months. There was one reminder in between. After minor revisions, the journal will not undergo another review.
