PSSRRL is an old and prestigious journal. Although it still has some gaps compared to PRB and APL in the field of condensed matter, it may be better than journals like JPD, JPCM, and JAP.
I am also very happy to have one paper accepted and I hope it can return to the second district soon.

The article was slightly revised and a response to the reviewers was added. PSSA accepted it directly. The timeline feels about the same, with the revision process taking three and a half weeks and acceptance taking four and a half weeks.

Physical Review B (PRB) requires higher standards, but for those who are eager to graduate, considering this journal as an option is advisable. The boss originally wanted me to submit to PRB, but I found it difficult and was also in a hurry to graduate, so I directly submitted to this one (JPCM is much slower). After more than three weeks, I received the first round of reviews, made revisions within a week (modifying the reference format), and then received the final decision. The whole process took a little over a month. PSSRRL used to be in the second tier, but now it is in the third tier of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The journal's impact factor is now around 2.8, which is a decrease from the previous 3.7. I hope it will improve in the future, IF UP UP!
