The review process is rigorous, and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the modifications were not directly accurate, resulting in multiple external reviews and repeated revisions.

May I ask how much time you have spent on revising the manuscript? I don't have a deadline for returning it either.

Fast review, submitted in early March, received initial review results in mid-May, no deadline for revision feedback was given, accepted after three weeks of receiving revised feedback.

The speed is acceptable, and the review process is very meticulous.

Just get used to it. This journal is incredibly slow, at least half a year or more.

In 3 more days, it will have been 1 month in the editor's hands, and it still shows "with editor". The foreign vacation should be over by now. I wanted to ask if this status has been submitted for review or if I should remind them about it.

2020 IF=2.356 translates to "2020 impact factor is 2.356" in English.

The paper was submitted at the end of March and received reviewer comments in early May. There were two reviewers, one of whom rejected the paper, claiming that it lacked innovation and citing a reference. However, it seems that the reviewer did not carefully read the paper, as there were significant differences. The second reviewer accepted the revised version but raised 11 detailed questions. In the end, the editor rejected the paper. The journal's review process was relatively fast. I made revisions and responded to the comments of both reviewers and resubmitted the paper.

Looking at the trend, the journal's impact factor is increasing and it is uncertain if it will reach 2 this year. However, it can be considered a potential stock in the field of particles.
