You all say you are slow, but mine is the most extreme.
Submitted in early June of the 21st year, accepted at the end of May of the 23rd year.
There was only one major revision in between, and it was accepted directly after the modification.
For a full two years, I thought this article was forgotten, but I didn't expect it to be accepted. If you are in a hurry, it is still advisable to be cautious when submitting.

American journals. Your handling editor is from India, right? It takes about 1-2 months from submission to assignment of an editor for this journal. After that, it is actually quite fast. The external review process takes around 2-3 months. From submission to acceptance, it usually takes about 7 months.

I suggest everyone not to submit to this journal, really. It has been 5 months since the initial review, and it hasn't even been sent for further review. It seems that this Indian journal is very unfriendly towards China. When my advisor submitted, it took a year for the initial review and they told him that the topic did not fit. It's a very frustrating journal. They don't respond to reminder or withdrawal letters.
