You don't have to submit the original data. For images, I usually create them in MATLAB with a resolution of 600ppi, and then arrange them in PowerPoint before exporting (some settings are required).

Kuylen 2023-08-09

I also didn't hear anything after replying at the time. After waiting for two weeks, I wrote a letter to remind them, but they didn't send it for a second review and directly accepted it. It's possible that the responsible editor forgot...

I want to ask everyone, do we need to submit the raw data for this magazine? The author should be aware of the strong encouragement mentioned above. Also, should the submitted images be high-resolution with a resolution of 300dpi for each small image or for the main image only? Help the child, please.

I would like to ask all the experts here, is it okay to choose "communication" as the type of article for submission? Also, what does "recommended editor" mean?

BD123 2023-07-22

The first review took 19 days, with one major revision and one minor revision by two reviewers. The editor requested a major revision, which was completed on July 3rd. Now it's already the third week, longer than the first review, and there has been no response... Waiting... I haven't submitted to any other journals recently. Is everyone experiencing such a long second review time???

ffrogg 2023-07-01

The submission processing speed is fast, and the entire process is relatively smooth.

Returned revised manuscript on May 23, 2023.

The word count requirement is 3000 words (excluding captions).
Revised on May 22nd.
Accepted on June 6th.
The overall speed was quite fast.

After experiencing setbacks, the submission process has finally come to an end. I hope the impact factor continues to rise, or at least not decrease, haha.

FeifeiXin 2023-05-27

May I ask what is the word limit?

FeifeiXin 2023-05-27

May I ask what is the word count limit? I didn't see it on the official website.

beiwu 2023-05-23

It has been almost a month since the manuscript was submitted, and there has been no response yet.

qwer000 2023-05-09

Received 2 reviews and invited to submit a cover.

Around 5.03 Submission for review
Hope for a good outcome.

It has been two weeks since the deputy editor was assigned, but it has not been submitted for review yet. Is it because there are many recent manuscripts and the processing speed is relatively slow?

The efficiency is quite high. In the first round, there was one rejection, one minor revision, and one major revision. In the second round, there was one minor revision. The revised manuscript was received three days after resubmission. If it weren't for the pandemic, it would have been even faster.

Who is the editor of the original post?

Lang Hu 2022-11-21

Submitted on October 13th, transferred to Assistant Editor CY three days later, still in the hands of the Assistant Editor on October 21st. The direction of hydrogen production through nanoarray photocatalysis is a risky proposition.

萧瑟暮春晖 2022-10-28

Notify for review after 3 days, the corresponding author will receive an email.

ymccjq 2022-10-27

May I ask, how many days do you spend with the deputy editor before submitting it for review?

萧瑟暮春晖 2022-10-13

The previous article about mRNA delivery was submitted to Angew, but was rejected during the review process. It was then revised and submitted to NL with a different format.

On September 28th, the article was submitted, but it was returned for resubmission due to exceeding the word limit.

On September 29th, it was assigned to the editor Teri W. Odom and has been under review since then.

On October 11th, it was reassigned to the associate editor Guangjun Nie and is still awaiting further updates.

南大张学友 2022-09-29

One month for review, half a month later rejected.

Two opinions, the first reviewer is very professional, suggesting to submit to ACS AMI. The second reviewer probably didn't read it carefully, saying the material is innovative but lacks new concepts.

eternity程 2022-09-22

It has been twenty days without any news.

research菜鸡 2022-09-22

Excuse me, have you received any messages, OP? It has been over half a month and there has been no response.

南大张学友 2022-09-12

After 10 days of submission, the associate editor is assigned. It has been a month since I submitted and it is still in the hands of the associate editor. I have sent two reminder emails, but no one is responding. Is Nano Letters always this slow? Are they just entertaining themselves?

alan@hnu 2022-08-13

2022.05.07 Submitted, delivered to Professor Jiwoong Park at the University of Chicago in a few days;
2022.05.21 Received notification email for review;
2022.06.11 Received review comments, one minor revision and one major revision. The reviewer for the major revision raised several sharp questions. Editor requested major revision;
2022.07.03 Sent back for revision;
2022.08.11 Received pre-acceptance notification, requested format changes;
2022.08.12 Made format changes and sent back for revision. Received formal acceptance email on the same day.
The most difficult part was the long wait of 38 days after sending the revised manuscript, which is not consistent with the usual practice of receiving a response within three weeks. I thought the editor had to find a new reviewer. It was worth the wait.
Sharing an experience:
1. Submission system: https://acsparagonplus.acs.org/. In this system, you can only see "under review" status (I have been checking this status since I submitted, unaware that there is another system).
2. Publishing system: https://publish.acs.org/. In this system, you can see "in peer review" status (I didn't know about it until today when I stumbled upon it on Little Muckworm. Thanks to that senior researcher).
Wishing everyone smooth research!! Let's encourage each other!!

alan@hnu 2022-07-29

I returned to my hometown on July 3rd, and it's already the 29th today but I still haven't received any news. Waiting is really making me anxious, and I don't know what's going on.
