The submission experience was simply the worst. I submitted in May and received the results in August. There was only one extremely unprofessional or non-expert reviewer (normally there should be three, or even five as I have encountered before). The article is in the field of electrochemistry, and the reviewer directly asked how the material was fixed without the use of adhesives. This led to the rejection of the entire experiment. It's frustrating to waste three months encountering such a situation, especially considering that there was no response even after following up.
