The new name is not on the list...

小小小西瓜 2023-06-08

What should we do then? Will it affect graduation?

匿名投稿 2023-04-09

I feel deceived by the editors. It took 8 months for the review, and the article can only be published in a new journal. They claimed that the impact factor would remain the same in their email, but the result turned out to be the same as before. Haha.

嘟嘟嘟 2022-12-28

Has the new journal name been categorized now?

ghost8469 2022-12-22

Return to Zone 1 of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Zehn 2022-12-14

How long does it take for your status to transition from "with editor" to the next stage?

陈明龙 2022-11-04

Waiting
Submitted to Journal;
11-7 with editor;

清漪 2022-10-18

Why are there two "With editor" instances? This is the second time for me, does it mean that it needs to be reviewed?

cuiss100 2022-09-29

There were 2 reviewers last time.

天上得云在飘 2022-08-23

How many reviewers are there in total? I have already submitted for almost three months, and currently, there is only one reviewer.

shpumm 2022-08-13

May I ask if coauthors are unable to see the articles in the submission system for this magazine, and only the corresponding author's system can access them?

ghost8469 2022-08-07

Accepted in March. The article can be found in Web of Science, but the impact factor and Chinese Academy of Sciences' division are embarrassing.

Rock you 2022-07-15

Excuse me, does anyone know if the articles accepted in May this year have any impact factor and partition in the retrieval proof?

Rock you 2022-07-12

Currently, the journal is not included in JCR. The new impact factor was released in June this year, but the old name is still being used. The calculation of the impact factor follows a rule based on the example of 1992. It calculates the impact factor of a journal for a given year as follows:

X = the total number of citations of all papers published by the journal in 1990 and 1991, with 1992 as the reference year
Y = the total number of papers published by the journal in 1990 and 1991, with 1992 as the reference year
IF1992 = (X(1990, 1991) / Y(1990, 1991))

Now that the journal has changed its name, it no longer has an impact factor.

YXT-H 2022-07-12

Did someone ask the editor-in-chief below if the impact factor of the original journal is inherited?

Frangcesking 2022-07-11

Is there no JCR partition either?

Rock you 2022-07-11

I checked the calculation of the impact factor, which is based on the citations of the journal in the previous two years. Since this journal changed its name in 2022, the earliest possible year for the impact factor to be available is 2024. It might be problematic if you want to use it for awards or inclusion in a search report without an impact factor. I am considering withdrawing my submission as it is still under external review. You can ask the editor for their opinion on this matter.

Frangcesking 2022-07-10

Who knows how to calculate the division and impact factor of articles in this magazine after May this year? Thank you very much.

Denkmit 2022-07-02

Translated into English:

Received on July 23, 2021.
Revised on June 6, 2022.
Accepted on June 19, 2022.
Available online on June 25, 2022.

Denkmit 2022-07-02

No impact factor, no partition, what's the situation...

nino182 2022-06-28

Does the retrieval certificate mean that there is no impact factor or partition? What does it mean when the old name is not displayed?

巴扎黑给 2022-06-28

Currently, articles after May are included in Web of Science, while those before May cannot be found.

blingblingbling 2022-06-28

Really awkward, how do I prove my article...

qiyedl 2022-06-28

This is awkward, even search results cannot produce impact factors.

巴扎黑给 2022-06-28

The new impact factor is out, but the old name is still used: Materials Science & Engineering C-Materials for Biological Applications with an IF of 8.457. There is no list of new names, which is embarrassing.

May I ask how long it usually takes for you to work with an editor? How long did it take for the review?

cuiss100 2022-06-13

I have submitted three times and all of them were fast. Recently, I submitted in January and it went online in March. It may be related to the topic.

longge99 2022-06-12

I am sorry, but despite inviting a significant number of reviewers to evaluate your manuscript, none of them have agreed to do so. I believe I cannot postpone this process any longer, as you may have the opportunity to publish your work elsewhere. Therefore, I think it is best to decline your manuscript, allowing you to proceed with an alternative submission.

longge99 2022-06-12

From checking the system, I can confirm that your manuscript MSEC-D-22-00xxx is currently listed as Under Review, dated January xx, 2022.
As a result, I will reach out to the Editor to investigate this matter and speed up the process of reviewing your manuscript.
We greatly appreciate your utmost patience in the meantime. If you have any further inquiries, please feel free to contact us without hesitation.

longge99 2022-06-12

Post evaluation: 1 star, not recommended for submission, extremely slow speed. Slow to the point of being slow because of oneself, resulting in manuscript rejection.

It has been 5 months, and according to the manuscript, no reviewer has been found, and no review comments have been received.

The field is biomaterials, not a niche direction, so when the editor said they couldn't find a reviewer, it felt like self-justification to me.

Submitted in early January 2022, with reminders sent in between. Sent another reminder in June and received a response.

In mid-June 2022, received a rejection letter.

I feel I cannot delay any further this process, as you might be able to publish your work elsewhere, that is why I think it is most appropriate to reject your manuscript, so that you can proceed with an alternative submission.
