Major revision on November 16th, with two reviewers and around 25 questions. Need to supplement a few experiments, but no animal experiments involved.
Revised on December 20th, with a lot of characterizations. There are a total of 11 figures in the Supplementary Information (SI).
Accepted directly on January 11th without any modifications.
It is probably the highest journal that can be submitted without animal experiments. I have submitted to this journal twice before, and it took about 2 and a half months from submission to acceptance.

This is my first SCI article. The process was long and waiting was painful, but luckily the outcome was good. I wish the magazine continued to thrive and be successful!
