Among the dozen or so journals I have submitted to, European Ceramic Society undoubtedly leaves a poor impression. I have submitted twice, and each time the editing process was extremely slow. It took half a month or even a full month just to be "with editor." Additionally, the review process seems to be never-ending. The first time I submitted, it took over four months to receive the review comments after multiple reminders. Furthermore, it continued to be delayed for ten months before eventually being rejected. Currently, my impression of this journal remains extremely negative.
