I submitted another article, it has been over a month with the editor, what's going on? It has become so slow, even when I send emails to urge for the manuscript, there is no response.

The review speed was extremely poor, with the first review taking nearly a year. During this period, I contacted the editor and chief editor numerous times. The chief editor passed the responsibility to the editor, who ignored my emails. In the end, I had no choice but to withdraw the paper. The chief editor replied, "I am sorry that the previous editor did not complete the review of this paper. I will be carrying out the rest of the review of your paper."

The opinions of the two reviewers did not contribute significantly to improving the quality of the paper. The chief editor rejected it, and I subsequently submitted it to another journal, where it was accepted.

Submitted in mid-May, the first review was in early August with four reviewers. Two accepted directly, one suggested minor revisions, and one suggested major revisions. The editor provided feedback for the minor revisions, which were sent back in early September. Accepted on October 7th, the process was quick. Previously, the paper was submitted to mathematical journals such as AMM and AMC, as well as operations research journals like COR, but all were rejected by the editors. This time, it was submitted to a computer science journal, and the process went smoothly.

Still use LaTeX, when resubmitting there is an option in the submission system to view, actually everything is written quite clearly.

Thank you, and sorry to bother you again. Currently, the journal has replied to me that they require a revised version for further review. May I ask if the revised manuscript should be uploaded in Word or LaTeX format? Because when I used LaTeX for the initial draft, the text on each page was sparse, which resulted in several additional pages. Additionally, the initial review comments stated, "We cannot accommodate PDF manuscript files for production purposes." So, I was wondering if they prefer Word manuscripts instead? Thank you.

It has been quite a while. If the review comments are to revise, with proper modifications, it should be acceptable.

Thank you very much. So, if I understand correctly, your first trial also lasted for half a year? Do you feel this publication is good? Thank you.

Answer the question above, this journal's review process is quite slow. I have two reviewers, and one of them always delays giving their review opinions until the very end, taking about three months. My article has been reviewed for a total of one and a half years, with four revisions. If you are in a hurry for results, you might need to reconsider. However, if you are not in a hurry, the quality of this journal is still acceptable.

I have been submitting to JNCA for half a year and still haven't received any results. Is this normal? Thank you! At 4 months, I asked the editor and they said there were still opinions from 2 reviewers pending. Now it has been 6 months and there is still no news.
