Does Battle have any follow-up results?

mzi 2023-07-11

The article was submitted in early April and received the first round of comments in late May. It was revised in early June and received the second round of comments in mid-June. The article was then revised again in late June and accepted in early July. The first round of comments focused more on the content, and we provided explanations for each point in our response. The second round of comments emphasized the formatting, and the reviewers were professional and responsible.

5.10 submit
5.22 under review
6.4 review complete
6.5 Deputy Editor rejects the submission, two positive comments and one negative comment, there are more issues in the positive comments, mainly in terms of parameters. The rejection only mentions that it is more suitable for a more specialized journal and does not provide any specific feedback, suspecting that the article was not read. Can only battle it out with the Editor, as the other two reviewers requested revisions for publication. Hoping for a major revision. Sigh.

Can I ask if this magazine submission requires confirmation from all authors?

lucky01 2023-05-18

May I ask if you need the author's confirmation?

nanor 2023-05-16

5.16 avec l'éditeur translates to "5.16 with the editor" in English.

nanor 2023-05-16

2023.5.10 submitted
Until now, the article has not been assigned a number. This journal is too slow. Shouldn't they assign a number without requiring confirmation from all authors for co-authorship?

Hello, may I ask how many days the "submitted to journal" status has been going on, and does the status change only after all authors confirm it?

chenten 2023-03-23

The following text translates to English as: "Explanation: The edited form review has been completed, inviting the responsible editor to conduct the initial review of the paper, and deciding whether to submit it for review."

cyanine 2023-02-17

I don't understand why there are still five people disliking it when the answerer kindly shared their experience.

大月儿 2023-01-07

What is your current status? I just arrived at this point.

cyanine 2022-12-23

This reviewing speed is too efficient!!!

Car飞喵 2022-12-20

I have been submitting for a few days, hoping for good luck to come.

氦酚素 2022-11-09

Posted on September 30th, first review comments on October 16th, sent for revision on November 7th, and accepted on November 9th. The review efficiency is quite high!

May I ask, after submitting a manuscript, it first shows "with editor" and then changes to "editor invited." Does this mean they are looking for reviewers or changing the editor? Thank you.

I am majoring in pharmacy, and JCR has a good reputation.
Submitted on December 19, 2021, and reviewed one week later.
Received the reviewer's comments on February 4, 2022, with three reviewers. One of the reviewers raised more than 20 questions, very detailed.
After completing all the experiments, submitted on March 2, 2022, it felt like writing another paper.
Accepted on March 21, 2022.

After more than a year of experience, and after three rounds of revisions, it was finally accepted. It was the most arduous submission experience.

The most bizarre submission process, this process sounds like playing, from submission to review half a month later, and then the review process took 2 and a half months. During this period, there were reminders, but no results. Finally, after 3 months, the review comments came back, and it was discovered that both reviewers requested rejection, citing language problems and did not provide any evaluation of the article's content. What's even more interesting is that the review comments from the two individuals are surprisingly identical, not in terms of content, but in terms of wording, not a single letter differs. I strongly suspect that the associate editor is fabricating peer review. I will never submit to JCR again, it's too disgusting, leaving one speechless. If they were not interested, they could have simply rejected it, without resorting to such despicable means. We are all people in the academic circle, why are they so shameless? Is it satisfying or fulfilling for them to waste other people's time? I don't understand. As an author myself, I have served as a reviewer for many journals, and I always complete reviews within the specified time. Why do these so-called associate editors not have this awareness?
