Although JBI has a low impact factor, the difficulty of submission is high (many friends say they have been rejected multiple times). The reviewers are highly competent, with sharp and meticulous comments, and high language requirements. The review speed is acceptable, but there were multiple revisions. The process from submission to acceptance took 8 months (the later revisions mainly focused on language and formatting), and it took 5 months for online publication (Early View). Therefore, it took over a year for colleagues in urgent need of their articles to be published, so be cautious!
