Apart from the necessary innovation and methodology in the paper, the format requirements are also strict.

Manuscript number at the time of submission: 22-91*.
Estimated number of submissions: an average of about 1200-1400 per year, an average of about 100-120 per month, an average of about 5-6 publications per month, with a submission rate of only about 4-5%.

First submission, it was probably not rejected because the research topic was relatively novel. However, there were numerous comments in the feedback, thoroughly criticizing the article from various aspects, using very harsh and straightforward language.

After one month of revisions, the second round of review comments were similar to the first round, pointing out that there were still many issues with the article and the revisions were perfunctory, avoiding the main problems. There was no choice but to continue making changes with determination, fortunately, I did not give up, and eventually the article was accepted.

Although the reviewers' comments were very sharp, their perspectives and depth of analysis were indeed unique, and there were points that I had not considered before. The suggestions from the editors and reviewers greatly helped improve the quality of the article.

Three rounds of review, each review cycle took about 20 days, and the submission system provided quick updates. Overall, the process was quite fast.

I will try again with new ideas next time.

Posted on May 24th, major revisions on June 31st, and rejected one month after rework. I conducted material analysis in additive manufacturing. However, the reviewer clearly lacks understanding of additive manufacturing and materials science. The questions they asked were inexplicable, such as reviewer 1 criticizing me for not polishing between each layer (which would require dismantling the fixture and removing the protective layer for polishing), and questioning the purpose of electrochemical experiments (which I have already explained is to evaluate corrosion performance, with ample description in the paper). Furthermore, they brought up the clichéd topic of innovation and used strange terms like "layer-by-layer" and "aging treatment" for no apparent reason.
