The IET CVI that I submitted earlier was reviewed externally on the third day, and then I submitted another purely CV article to IET IPR. I was extremely worried before submitting it and thought I might have to transfer it, but it was sent for external review on the same day. Both journals are very fast and efficient.

The status hasn't changed, I give up. I initially submitted to IET image processing, and it only took two days to get a response, but they said the paper leans towards computer vision rather than image processing, so they asked me to submit to IET computer vision. The result is taking so long, I'm speechless. I strongly recommend prioritizing IET IPR, at least the handling by the editor is N times faster.
