He mentioned that TIE's current requirement for deputy editors is to limit the number of rounds of revisions and reviews. Generally, the final result will be provided after two rounds. Overall, the TIE reviewers are not as strict as the TPEL reviewers. As long as the writing is decent, they generally do not reject the manuscript outright. They provide the opportunity for revisions, and the review process has recently become faster. The entire process is as follows: The manuscript was submitted for the first review on November 8, 2021, and the review was received on December 11, 2021. There were four reviewers who provided 19 comments, with two of them requesting additional experimental images under dynamic conditions. This required some time to set up the experimental platform, but the other comments were relatively easy to address. The revised manuscript was submitted for the second review on January 20, 2022, and the review was received on February 6, 2022. It required minor revisions, and three out of the four reviewers had no issues, while one reviewer had two minor concerns. The manuscript was submitted for the third review on February 18, 2022, and the review was received on March 8, 2022. It was accepted without any additional problems.

After two months of waiting, I finally received the review comments.
First of all, I was very surprised to find out that they actually assigned 8!! 8!! reviewers for my paper...
As I read through the review comments, my heart sank. Some comments were very sharp, showing the level of the reviewers, while others lacked sincerity.
Overall, although I didn't succeed, it was still a valuable experience. I will try again with a better article next time!

July 12, 2021. Submitted the initial draft. The first feedback was rejection, but a resubmission was allowed with a requirement of at least a 3-month interval. After resubmission, received a notice for major revisions, with an additional reviewer. Originally, there were 4 reviewers, but 3 had no comments, and 2 had some feedback, with one being more negative. Most reviewers seemed to focus on the experimental section, indicating that this journal highly values experimental results. After the major revisions, the paper was accepted within a couple of weeks on February 12, 2022.
