This journal is notoriously slow. Although it is a Chinese journal, it is not friendly towards Chinese people at all. Unless your advisor is a prominent figure in the country and has a strong network, it is really a waiting game and the final result is likely to be rejection. I waited for eight months for the first review, made major revisions, and then my revised manuscript was rejected. I am now preparing to submit to another journal and I will never touch this journal again in my lifetime.
