The second submission to Catena was accepted, after a review process that took nearly 6 months, mainly because I took a long time to submit. Overall, the review speed was still acceptable. The first round of review comments was received approximately 1 month after submission, with one minor revision and one moderate revision. The editor-in-chief allowed 21 days for revisions. Due to other commitments, I requested an extension. The second round of review took about a month as well, resulting in one acceptance and one acceptance after minor revisions suggested by the editor-in-chief.

This year, the impact factor is 6.2, which is quite stable. I hope Catena will continue to improve.

On the morning of July 8, 2023, one reviewer submitted their review comments, and immediately the status changed to "Review completed by reviewers". Shortly after, on the same day in the evening, the editor-in-chief rejected the manuscript, stating that it did not fit within the scope of the journal, without providing any feedback to the reviewers.
