The whole process took more than 3 months. It was the first submission, and I am quite satisfied. It may have been due to the direction issue, under review for 1.3 months, with two reviewers providing positive comments and suggesting 20 revisions. One reviewer provided some systemic feedback, which was more negative. I was given three weeks to make the revisions. When I submitted the revised manuscript for the first time, one reviewer in the manuscript tracking system took a while to accept the review. Personally, I speculate that the handling editor recognized the article and directly gave an accept decision the day after receiving the comments from the two reviewers. The editor is Dr. Darren Robinson, and I am grateful to him.
