My paper has been pending for 8 months. I have followed up three times but have not received any response. I am considering withdrawing my submission.

The external audit is too slow. It has been five months and it still hasn't been completed. After urging them, they informed me that they would handle it as soon as possible. However, it is still under review now. It's really frustrating.
