I submitted an article on plastic surgery, but it was rejected by several journals that I usually submit to. I lost confidence and forgot how I found this particular journal. I decided to give it a try and after 2 months, they asked for revisions. I was quite happy that they didn't reject it outright this time. There were many suggestions in the feedback, and it was quite difficult to make all the changes. Surprisingly, after the revisions, they accepted it for publication. The process was quite fast. The journal has limited influence and a score of just over 2 points, which is satisfactory but not exceptional. However, because it is open access, the article processing charge is really high, around 16,000 yuan.

Short article, the waiting period is quite long. The first review took more than 3 months, with not many suggestions for revision. It was sent back the next day after making the changes. The second review took another month to receive. It took nearly half a year in total. If you are in a hurry, it is not recommended to submit.
