I submitted my article at the end of November last year. In early January this year, I received a decision letter for major revision, which provided me with 11 very constructive comments. It took me 20 days to make the necessary revisions and resubmit. After a month, I received a decision letter for minor revision, which included two additional comments. I spent 10 days making the revisions and submitted again. After only 8 days, I received another decision letter for minor revision, which added two more comments. I spent 9 days making the revisions and submitted again. After only 4 days, my article was accepted. This is my first submission to a SCI journal, and I went through one major revision and two minor revisions, taking a little over three months but less than four. The journal's review process was very efficient, with prompt email responses from the editor and thoughtful comments from the reviewers. There were no publication fees, and I was even invited to write Author Reflections after acceptance. It was a very rewarding and enjoyable submission experience.

I highly do not recommend submitting to this magazine. When submitting an article, you have to pay a $50 review fee. The submission process is extremely complicated, and the review process is very slow. It took a whole two months from submission to receiving a rejection for the first decision. There were two reviewers, and one of them provided constructive feedback, but the other one seemed like they were just going through the motions. Especially for friends who are in a hurry, it is best to avoid this pitfall.
