I really hope this journal won't be ruined by the publishers anymore. Originally, it was a good subordinate journal of GSA. After being bought by the publishers, they created a bunch of special issues and appointed a bunch of Chinese people as guest editors for them. All the submissions are from Chinese authors. You can imagine the quality of the journal... Sigh.

The speed is extremely slow. It has been 8 months since submission, and it has been four months since the invitation was sent to the AE without any response. Sending messages to the editorial department is useless. This journal is truly a pitfall, wasting time and energy. I will withdraw the submission today.
