"China Science: Mathematics Excellence (English Edition)" is currently receiving a fair amount of attention. However, there is something peculiar: shouldn't the editorial board fully consider the opinions of the reviewers in order to establish a top-notch mathematical journal? Otherwise, the editorial board could simply make the decision to accept or reject articles without going through so much trouble. There was one paper that we carefully read through and found the author's conclusions to be average, with no new breakthroughs in terms of methodology. Therefore, we do not recommend publishing it in SCM. Surprisingly, six months later, that paper was actually published in SCM.

Now it is really difficult to conduct scientific research in China. Two reviewers agreed to accept the manuscript, and the editorial board also agreed to accept it. However, in the end, the editor-in-chief rejected it.
