Aims and Scope
Life Sciences is an international journal publishing articles that emphasize the molecular, cellular, and functional basis of therapy. The journal emphasizes the understanding of mechanism that is relevant to all aspects of human disease and translation to patients. All articles are rigorously reviewed.

The Journal favors publication of full-length papers where modern scientific technologies are used to explain molecular, cellular and physiological mechanisms. Articles that merely report observations are rarely accepted. Recommendations from the Declaration of Helsinki or NIH guidelines for care and use of laboratory animals must be adhered to. Articles should be written at a level accessible to readers who are non-specialists in the topic of the article themselves, but who are interested in the research. The Journal welcomes reviews on topics of wide interest to investigators in the life sciences. We particularly encourage submission of brief, focused reviews containing high-quality artwork and require the use of mechanistic summary diagrams.

It is estimated that there are more submissions from Chinese people. Anyway, those in the Chinese Academy of Sciences are determined to increase the difficulty of submissions for young scholars and students from lower-tier non-prestigious universities. They suppress journals that are slightly more friendly towards these young scholars and students from lower-tier non-prestigious universities. Science citation index evaluation criteria by Clarivate Analytics have their own standards and are not influenced by personal emotions. The Chinese Academy of Sciences themselves have stated that the evaluation of these warning journals is a combination of qualitative and quantitative measures, and how they are qualified is determined by them.

After three months, it was finally accepted, and no page fees were required. I hope more top magazines in China will also appear without page fees. I really don't understand how the warning list of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is calculated. Isn't it a predatory magazine to use limited research funding to pay for page fees? How many magazines in China do not require page fees? Academic research should encourage a diversity of opinions and respect the author's choice. What does it mean to issue a "warning" and claim it is not about the price of the paper? Please consider the factor of free publication in the Chinese Academy of Sciences. That is the key. Can domestic journals achieve this?
