Aims and Scope

The Journal of Nutrition (JN/J Nutr) publishes peer-reviewed original research papers covering all aspects of experimental nutrition in humans and other animal species; special articles such as reviews and biographies of prominent nutrition scientists; and issues, opinions, and commentaries on controversial issues in nutrition. Supplements are frequently published to provide extended discussion of topics of special interest.

The first submission was directly rejected after review, but it can be resubmitted. After major revisions, a second submission was made, followed by two more rounds of major revisions (one month for review and one month for modification). After one minor revision, the article was accepted, which took more than half a year in total. The article is an intervention study. The reviewer was excellent, providing constructive and insightful comments. The quality of the revised article has greatly improved. Although the revisions were challenging, the end result turned out to be good!
