The second paper from the research group on hepatology has been accepted.
Contributing to the timeline:
11-nov-2021~21-dec-2021: Rejected with an opportunity to resubmit
8-apr-2022: Revised and accepted directly by the editor-in-chief on the same day
Overall, the paper required a large and substantial amount of data, with sufficient evidence from both clinical and animal studies. Originally, the paper was submitted to Nature Cell Biology but was rejected after revisions, so it was then submitted to Hepatology. Therefore, there were no major issues, just some minor modifications, and it was accepted.
