Can you please reject the manuscript faster? It has been hanging for 3 months without being assigned for initial review, and then the initial review takes nearly another month. I estimate that it takes about half a month for the initial reviewer to even take a glance at the manuscript. It only took a month to reject the revised manuscript!

After more than a month of initial review, I made significant revisions and resubmitted the article. It was basically accepted. I submitted a clinical retrospective article, and this journal does not have too many publications, so it is relatively niche. Overall, it is fine, and the review requirements are not too strict.
