Journal Title
CRYSTAL GROWTH & DESIGN

Cryst. Growth Des.

ISSN / eISSN
1528-7483 / 1528-7505
Aims and Scope
The aim of Crystal Growth & Design is to stimulate cross fertilization of knowledge among scientists and engineers working in the fields of crystal growth, crystal engineering, and the industrial application of crystalline materials and molecular assemblies.

Crystal Growth & Design publishes theoretical and experimental studies of the physical, chemical, and biological phenomena and processes related to the design, growth, and application of crystalline materials. Synergistic approaches originating from different disciplines and technologies and integrating the fields of crystal growth, crystal engineering, intermolecular interactions, and industrial application are encouraged.

Contributions emphasizing the fundamental concepts of crystal growth or molecular assembly and supporting further understanding of the relationship between assembly conditions and resulting properties or function of the material are highlighted. The journal does not publish routine reports of new material morphologies unless the morphology leads to significantly improved function or properties.

The editor is very responsible and sent it to four reviewers. It took about a month to receive their comments. After the first revision, three reviewers agreed to accept it. After the second revision, the only reviewer who rejected it insisted on rejecting it. The editor allowed for resubmission after modification, and it should be directly returned to the reviewer who previously rejected it. It was very fast, and the reviewers were convinced. It was accepted in 7 days. Currently, it is still under review at the school. The journal's review process is very fast, and the editor is also good. Finally, it has returned to the first quartile in crystallography, which shows the journal's position in the field of crystallography. However, it is lagging behind in other areas.

No... After the second review, it was temporarily accepted, and then they asked for a formatting change. The format was returned as R3 (summary). There has been no further communication in between. On the afternoon of 3-1, there was a decision letter from the Editor in Chief... The overall similarity is around 30+, and the highest similarity in a single article is about 7, which is from one of my previous articles in Langmuir...? All sentence structures that are similar are highlighted in red... The appeal was unsuccessful and the Editor in Chief forwarded the response letter to the ACS Editor in Chief... The manuscript has been transferred to PCCP for further review. Good luck!
