Sharing my bizarre and infuriating submission experience:

Submitted on September 16, 2022.
Received reviewer feedback after more than 4 months on January 27, 2023. There were two reviewers, and one of them provided incorrect feedback (seems like they mistakenly attached feedback meant for another submission, as it didn't match at all). Contacted the editor, who promised to handle it promptly, but then began a long wait. In the meantime, the editor sent an email saying they would expedite the process, but it was of no use.
Received feedback from one reviewer on April 12, 2023, with a two-week revision period.
Submitted the revised version on April 14, 2023.
Since April 17, 2023, the editor has been evaluating the revision (deciding whether to send it back to the reviewers). During this period, I reminded them once again, expressing my urgency. The editorial department promptly notified me whenever there was an update (which felt like nonsense). It's becoming unbearable to wait any longer...

To all my fellow students who are eager to graduate and need results, please avoid submitting to this journal. I've never seen anything slower!

Additional note: The editor is Thomas Heinze, this "lightning-fast" individual.
